I tried to sail Lake Perris, CA today, it was my "home lake" I cannot bring myself to go back, it is utterly disgusting, and getting worse with alge, rocks, and stench. I have never been to silverwood, is it good?

Anyone know of good places to sail in or close to the Inland Empire (San Bernardino, Riverside)

Thanks,
Luke

Luke:

Long Beach is less than 1 hour away. Great wind!

is there a good beach launch area, or do you have to launch at a dock, or ramp?

There is great beach access in Long Beach. There is a pay lot with a beach road with traffic circle near the water that is specifically for launching. Claremont and Ocean Blvd.
