Anyone from Fleet 251 (or anyone else) out there who can tell me about sailing at Lawtonka? We were in the Wichitas climbing yesterday and the lake looks great. Can we beach launch on the east side near the RV park? Thanks. Alan |

I sailed at Lake Lawtonka back in '96. There was a sailing club there on the east side not far from the RV park. Several Hobies were stored and sailed there. They had an active summer regatta program and a lot of really nice folks. They sponsored a Hobie regatta with around 30 boats attending. Beach launching was not a problem. Neither was wind. |
