Just moved to Port Isabel Tx right next to the bridge to Padre Island - Looking for New Hobie Adventure Friends!

I just moved to Port Isabel Texas with my Hobie Adventure Island in tow! I have 2 years of experience sailing the Adventure Island but exclusively in medium to large lakes. 48 year old GUY here if it matters. The wind and the tides here are a bit overwhelming and Im searching for someone local that might want to go on a sailing adventure with me! I know I dont know enough to head out there myself at this point.....

I have tons of camping and adventure gear..... Whos up for an Adventure? Hit me up!

I have been so torn whether I should have retired to there, and have followed texas 200 vlogs https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +200+hobie . I gather you have more clear water, since they sail a bit closer to where the Mississippi dumps out all that silt.

Thanks for the link to the youtube channel! I can use all the info I can find before I head out into the waves and winds down here off the coast of Port Isabel Texas.

I went out on a sunset paddle last night on the channel right outside my new place in Port Isabel in my 17 foot carbon fiber sea kayak last night and the winds were 22 mph+ and the tide coming in was pretty strong.
