Looking to jazz up my rudders with a shiny new coat of paint :D Does anyone have a recommendation for paint type and process? Looking to make them bright orange

Depends on what they are . . .

If you've got the original Lexan rudders that came with your boat - paint doesn't stick well.

Fiberglass rudders will take paint, but you need to surface prep them to get it to stick.

Spray them with Gelcoat. Search the forums for info on Gelcoat.

That ain't going to work if the rudders are plastic (Lexan or nylon).
