I am ashamed to say I have left my 16 ft Hobie outside uncovered for 20 years in New England (Massachusetts). Trampoline looks pretty moldy and bad. What else could be drastically bad with the hulls and frame if left out this long. It sat under pine trees, so was partially protected by sun. Sails were kept indoors, mast under a deck, and one rudder is broken. I remember the last time it was sailed the pontoons took on a lot of water. Gel coat worn on the bottom to the fabric, with typical beach wear and tear. The boat is probably 30 years old. Thanks.

Delamination (soft spot) is probably all over those hulls.

If the hulls are solid, then there should be little other affects from leaving it outside that long - other than the tramp and lines rotting.

Thanks for the reply. So what do you think? Worth the fix. What would a used(if I could find one) rudder blade cost, and a new or used tramp?

Hard to say if it's worth the fix. You need to go over the hulls, pressing with the palm of your hand to find any soft spots. Depending on their extent, it may be worth fixing or good for parts only.

Check eBay. They're both on there all the time.
