Post subject: | Delamination Fix |
I've been looking at some replies on repairing delamination and they suggest using a product called "Git Rot." I have not been able to located a supplier for "Git Rot" where I live (Nova Scotia, Canada). Could I use a Epoxy resin and achieve the same results? Mitch |

I would use GROT in an open cavity where it can be poured into the delamination or rotted area. A thin sandwich delam like in Hobies can be better fixed by drilling holes thru the first layer, Then carving out some foam with a bent nail and vac to open the area inside,,, then injecting epoxy.... Any other opinions? |
