Ok, old salts and Hobie gurus -- I need your advice. Just came back from a trip and discovered a multiple cracks on both rudders, possibly form trailing with the rudders attached. I know, I know, I should have taken off the rudders for a longer trailing trip -- lessen learned. Anyway, should I: 1. Replace both rudders ASAP 2. Sail, but remove the rudders for any trailing 3. Sail/trail with cracked rudders and watch them shred to pieces Cracks are on both sides, but this is the worse side |

Replace. Bad day if they fail on the water. Those do not look good. Fyi... only choices are Nylon (White) or EPO3 Fiberglass. |

Thanks Matt, this was my impression as well. Already placed an order for new rudders. |
