Post subject:  Paddle parts identification

Greetings. Hope the enthusiasts and moderators can help me out. Purchased the Outback in 2012. Lost one of the paddle parts to the fiberglass two-pieces paddle when I got home. I've contacted my local dealers, and none of them gave me a solid response whether or not they are able to replace just one of the two parts, like the Hobie catalog describe. Don't want to buy online if I can help it, and rather buy at the local dealers if possible. But, so far, the two closest to me are simply being mysterious with their answers.

I'm uncertain if it's the left or right part that I lost. The paddle side that I lost was the one the one that has the multiple holes for adjustment of the angle of the paddle. I still have the one that has the one button to hold the two-halves in place. I'm still new at the paddling, so, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, paddle halves are not sold. The shafts are matched sets. The catalog only shows that "blades" are available as left and right.

Thanks for the response. Looks like I'll be investing on a new paddle altogether.
