The fiberglass around the rear pylon that recieves the tramp frame has a couple of cracks in it. The frame and pylon are still stiff and rigid. My concern is that it might lead to future problems. Is there a way to fix the cracks to maintain the structural integrity of the deck where it meets the pylon? If so, how do you fix it? thanks, Mike |

Sometimes the gelcoat cracks around the "hump" that surrounds the posts. I have never seen one fail though. How about a picture? |

Post subject: | Photos of cracks |
mmiller, I took a couple of photos of the damaged area. One of them shows a hole about the diameter of a pencil. The other shows a crack that is a couple milimeters deep. I don't see any fiberglass fibers in the crack, it appears that it could just be gel coat. Where shall I send the photos? thanks for offering to take a closer look. Mike |
