I am about to finsh the repair of my EPO rudders (more a refinish then anything - see my previous post). I read somewhere here about putting a blunt trailing edge on the dagger boards to help prevent that hum at high speed. Should the rudders have that same blunt trailing edge?

As a general rule of thumb you want underwater appendages to have a blunt trailing edge to aid in the seperation of water flow. It does not need to be an extreme edge though. Mine are between 1/16 and 1/8 inch.
