I have an '81 H16 with a 6in. by 12in. soft spot on the top of my right hull. I have been doing alot of reading on the git rot repair. How strong is the stuff after dries. I use my boat mostly on the lake, but I do take it to the ocean twice a year and I don't want to incur any problems in the ocean! Will I have any or do I need to look for another hull? The last thing I want is problems in the ocean! Thanks for your help!

I did a repair on my H18 about the same size. I sail on the Chesapeake and on the ocean. I have had no problems for the past two years.
