While loading my h16 on the trailer, one of the rollers scratched the hull. It looks pretty deep to me but I am not sure if I need to patch with some epoxy and then GelCoat or if I can just cover with GelCoat. Here is a pic of the scratch

It's too deep for just gel coat.

Don't use epoxy to fix it - it's difficult to get gel to stick on top of it.

Use chopped glass and polyester resin to level it out, sand, then spray with gel.

It's about an hour job if you know what you're doing.
