My hotstick is no longer locking in its shortest position, up until about half way out. Any longer than that it still locks. I think that the cam on the inner part has worn down to the point that the outer tube no longer locks on it, and want to try to build it up with a thin epoxy layer. Thoughts? Has anyone tried this? I'd hate to spend money on a new one if this is repairable... :?

Contact Bob Edmonds at Arriba Performance Products (manufacturer).

www.arriba.com

He's a Hobie 20 sailor and could tell you for sure what's up.
