Post subject:  Using images and video in forum posts

Posting an image... Images must be hosted at a location on the internet. (Suggested site: imgur.com )

Navigate to your image page. Right click the image and copy the "propeties". This must be an image address (url) rather than a url to a page. Click the above image to test and look at properties and address (url).

http://media.twango.com/m1/large/0004/d ... cff9ec.jpg

Rather than a link to the page it was on. The address should end in something like .jpg or .gif

Use the buttons above the post text area to find the proper code.

Use [img] then the image url and click [/img] again.

The current format for YouTube and Vimeo are pretty much the same format...

You only need the letter or number code specific to the video. None of the http://... URL are used.

Looks something like:

[vimeo]988445[/vimeo]

Your video works as follows:

[youtube2]KwkumqLt4-A[/youtube2]

You need to pull the video identifier from the complete URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwkumqLt4-A
