 Post subject: which clew eye to use

I am a little confused over which clew eye to use under various conditions. There must be some scientific explanation based on sale shape and lift. Anybody got any suggestions? :?:

Further forward will "flatten" the sail for higher winds. Further aft... fuller sail.
