weight limit on the getaway?

Post subject:  weight limit on the getaway?
I want to put as many people as possible on a Getaway. I know the wings are rated for 350 lbs. What's the weight limit on the front tramp. How about for the whole boat? One dealer mentioned 8 people! Is that realistic?

Also does anyone have any ideas on replacing the front tramp? Mine rotted in the sun and ripped down the middle. I'm pretty flabbergasted at the $500 pricetag in the Hobie Catalogue, especially since companies like sunrise offer a H 16 tramp for less than $200. The front tramp is made out of some other material?

Good luck with getting a new forward tramp. There are a few lofts out there that build custom tramps for NACRA's. They might be able to help you out. Otherwise you are controlled by Hobie.

Max people... I'd say 8 total. Funny enough, I think 8 people wold sit comfy on it too with the wings. I have seen 5 people on a Wave under sail. Funny stuff.
