Post subject:  Getaway windward rudder lifting while sailing

Hello:
I have a Getaway that I bought earlier this year. When I am sailing in a beam reach, with about 15 knots of wind, I have a problem with the windward rudder lifting up with no apparent reason. It is definitely deep enough where I had the problem, and this past weekend it happened to me 3 or 4 times while in the same reach (and it has happened a few times before also). Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to make the rudder stick down? (like tightening something). I have the EZ LOC rudder system.

thanks

Guillermo

Check the rudder cam and tensioner, here is some good right up's on it.

On the Ez Loc... tension the bolt passing through the rudder.
