Post subject: | Tramp retensioning |
Just sailed the Getaway for the first time yesterday. Noticed the tramps both stretched quite a bit. Is this normal?? I guess it would be. All I should have to do is to retension them, right? Any other advice. |

They do that once you get some weight on them. Just like you said, retension them and you will be fine. The line used to lace them will streach for a while. Eventually it will stop. Since my crew and I are on the heavier side (~400lbs) and I am lazy, I splurged and bought the non-streach line so I would only have to do it once per season. |

Be sure to tension to the aft first. This helps the front end stay seated in the crossbar without inching in torwards the center. |
