Hi, I am thinking on buying a Gateway, but I wonder if I can put an outboard engine on it as I need to leave a protected bay to get to winds. And what limitations/parts/accesories do I need to do it?. I could not find the info in official Hobie pages.
thanks!

There's lots of information about sailors putting small electric or gas outboards on their getaways, do some searching and you will find lots of info.

I've used a Honda 2 hp outboard on a Cheeta Outboard bracket for several years. Looked at other options but this seems to be the most popular combination of size and dependability.
