What kind of cracks and where?

There is not great material for repairing the hull material.

-on my stbd hull where the front crossbar attaches
-around the cup holders on the stb side

those are the only 2 it found so far...will keep looking

from reading these forums, it appears that the hull cracks are due to a manufacturing defect (cooking times) if that is the case, then hobie should be replacing free of charge

Cracks? Depends on the age of the boat as to the appropriate warranty coverage. The boats have a one year (100%) warranty. We have made an adjustment policy for this issue that reflects what the Coleman Company did when they owned Hobie Cat. The Coleman warranty was 5 years. 100 / 80 / 60 / 40 / 20 percent coverage based on retail value of a hull. We have used the same formula, but maximized the warranty to 50% all the way out to 5 years. 100 / 80 / 60 / 50 / 50 percent.

By the way, the cracks have been primarily cosmetic. We have not seen a structural failure to my knowledge.

So, if your boat falls into this range, contact your dealer to file a warranty claim.
