Wow, lots of great replies. Last summer, early in the season i let a friend skipper and we pitchpolled. Wasn't too bad of an experience except for the fact that my 12 year old was on board with us and I was more worried about him than righting the boat. This was about 1/2 mile off shore, 10 mph winds and 2ft. swells. I can tell you when it happens it takes your breath away and your heart starts pumping. My wife was watching us from shore and instructed the lifeguards to retrieve her son and she stated that she didn't care about me - "just get her son." Once my son was on the lifeguard boat and we were able to catch our breath we did all of the correct moves with unsheeting and pointing into the wind and after a few tries we got it. Very scary experience. I had a GoPro on board and captured at least the flipping part. It happens really fast. Even in slow motion I couldn't capture it. Hope you enjoy.

Are you sheeting in the jib with the sheet on the windward side of the boat in addition to the leward side?
