 Post subject: tiller extension

while sailing on Sunday, my tiller extension handle kept sliding as it wanted to come off the main handle...luckily i was holding on to the main sheet line or i would have been overboard at one point...how do i tighten up the tiller extension so it wont slide off???

Foam cover?

Remove and reinstall with some glue. Contact cement maybe, 3M 5200 if you have some.

The hot stick is carbon fiber sheets rolled into a tube. (A somewhat oval tube)

You might have some kind of junky Al pole.
