is expected in the 30-40Knt range...too much for the Getaway with full main sail and 2 guys on board (appx 350-380lbs total) I am expecting with that wind 3-5' chop

I wouldn't call 3'5 feet "chop" :D I did go out last weekend down here in 20 kts gusting to 25 and 2-3' waves. Lots of fun and very wet.

Call me Crazy, but I'll be sailing in a few spots in NJ this weekend so long as the tropical storm comes without lightning.
