Made a rough video on you tube of us rigging our hobie getaway. I noticed there weren't many videos out there on getaway rigging, hopefully this helps any one that is new to the getaway and is having trouble. I am going to make a video of me rigging it by myself as well....yes it is possible to get the mast up without a mast stepper.

Hello,

Nice video, I'll need to make one to show you how I step the mast by myself. Over the past 10 years, I sail my Getaway 90% of the time by myself, so I have learned a few tricks.

Here are some of the modifications I've make.

I couldn't open the image, is there something I need to do first to access the images?

Have you seen the factory rigging video? It's in the Getaway FAQ:

Matt:

I saw the videos that Hobie produces on rigging the Getaway, they were very informative. I like watching different perspectives on "how to" videos.
