I bought a used Getaway. The owner had lost the jib in a move. I figured out how to rig the sheets (similar to a 16) but I haven't figured out how to connect the sail to the forestay. I know I want to connect the sail below the pigtail swivel, is it just simply shackled under the pigtail swivel?

Thanks, I have the manual. Unfortunately the pictures are pretty small at the bottom of page 12 (1x1s) of the top of the rig. Is the grommet on the head of the sail has attached to the forestay? The tack (as shown on page 10 left) is attached to the bridle adjuster via a shackle. I think the jib has to be attached at the head, doesn't it?

Yes - it attaches with a piece of line that gets looped between the head grommet and the thimble on the forestay - just tie it up with some tension to get the wrinkles out of the sail. Pretty straight forward. All H16's are also rigged the same. I'll try and locate a better photo for you and post it.
