Has anyone played with the batten tension on the Getaway sail, I can't find anything in search. Just looking for what others have found out about shaping the sail, I know it makes a difference on the 14 and 16 and different wind conditions. So now that I have added a Getaway to the fleet, I want to start playing with it to see what performance changes I can make.

I'm not an expert, but my sense is that they should be snug enough to easily "pop" after you tack in light winds. Too loose means the sail will be too flat... Too tight and the sail will be too curved (and probably too stressed which could cause the sail to stretch/wear/tear over time. Both extremes likely stray from the ideal/intended aerodynamic shape.
Take care.
