Mid summer I had an unfortunate experience on Lake Erie near Buffalo, turtled and snapped the comp-tip from the aluminum mast. The part has been on back order so my local dealer claims, for the past 6 weeks. I had just purchased the wave new this year and my question is - did anyone else ever have a problem getting a comp-tip ordered through the manufacturer? I find it hard to believe that this part is not readily available from them but, If it is in high demand, could it be a weak point in design? I would like to contact the manufacturer but their phone number is tough to find! Other than this problem, the boats performance is outstanding!

Thanks!

We have had stronger sales than planned this season. The supply of CompTips has been short, but recently caught up and shipped. Contact your dealer.
