I have been waiting to buy a sailboat for the last two years. I thought I would buy the Hobie Bravo, but when I tried it out last saturday, I found out that I am a little too heavy for it. I first thought it was taking on water, but checked the drain plugs and they were in. It just doesn't have the volume I need. I have tried out the Hobie Wave on a windy day and it was fun. So within a month go to buy the Wave. Can anyone tell me if you can still race a wave with a Traveler on it? I may buy a trailex trailer to haul it around. Can't wait to take it to the coast.

I would assume you would not be able to race a wave with the traveler installed. Depending on who's running the race you might be able to tie the traveler off in the center position. The wave is a great boat you will love it, we use trailex trailers for the wave at the shop, great trailer.
