My wife has a 2005 Wave that has gone through one winter under its cover. Upon removing the cover, I noticed that dirt has been ground into the hulls and tramp. We sailed it yesterday and the dirt did not wash off--obviously the stains have impregnated the surface of the hulls

Can someone tell me what they use to clean both the hulls and the tramp?

Thank you,

Bob

Bob:

Try some Bon Ami. It is VERY cheap at $1 a can and even got rust stains out of 17 white hulls. Make a little paste and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes on bad spot. Should help on the tramp too. Let me know.
