Just bought a very used catamaran trailer and it does not have a mast step. It is a typical trailer setup but I want the add the step and add a winch so I can raise the mast all by myself.

Will this work?

You can raise a Wave mast by yourself, guaranteed. You don't need a mast stepper or a winch. That will just add more work.

Totally not required. Don't waste your money. This mast only weighs about 30 pounds. It is the easiet cat I have ever had to rig.
