What you have there is a Florida version of a Wave with Spinnaker - not a Hobie thing. Might work, don't know.

Mine is a Classic Wave with factory jib and spreader. Jib adds about 25 square feet I think. Nice offset for the slight extra weight of the rotomolded construction.

The use of term "super Wave" is similar to our use of Super 14 back in the day when we tacked a jib onto a 14 and tried to outrun the big boys.

Don't you mean "Turbo" for 14 with an added jib?

Yep sure enough I meant TURBO that is an indication of my mental state at work (confusion).
