I turned over a couple of times and the second time turtled. When i got back to shore another sailor noticed there was water in my hobie bob. It was about a third full! Has any one else had water in their hobie bob? thanks I don't know if the water was there before i turtled or what. has anyone else had this problem? Thanks Randy

If the float is reasonably new, we would replace it for you. Possibly the threaded inserts (for the screws) have leaks or the plug failed? If the mast went turtle, there is a ton of pressure.

Hello Matt,
My boat is older. It is a 96. Is it ok to drill a hole and let the water out and reseal the hobie bob? Would the change in pressure and temperature keep the seal from being effective? thanks randy

You can do that. You can weld that plastic to seal it or drill and add a small screw for a plug. Looks like shoe goo works as it adhears to the material pretty well. You need to rough it up a bit first.
