I have a handful of the flat and curved adhesive mounts for my Hero2, but I cant really decide where to stick them on the wave. the textured topside of the hulls probably not a good place to try and stick them..

Ideas?

Search the User name "Creative"

He's got a Wave and a GoPro that many people have asked about and I believe replicated.

Heres Creatives idea -- have to try that:

I got a great shot dragging the camera under the waterline behind the boat, very clear above and below ... unfortunately half the screen is blocked by my thumb! Have to try that again though.

i was surprised at the good quality of the picture.

You should also consider using the innovative mounting system called GearTrac created by Luther Cifers of YakAttack. I recently installed a few pieces of it on my Hobie Revolution 13.

Make sure you get a GoPro Floaty Backdoor with a Leash. $19.99
Easy to spot flotation backdoor lets your HD HERO camera float in water. Industrial strength 3M adhesive backing attaches the floaty directly to the HD HERO waterhousing backdoor. A spare HD HERO waterhousing backdoor is included.
