Can anyone tell me if the hobie 18 trailor can be used to haul a Wave? Thanks. |

Yes most likely. The cradles or rollers have to be moved in a ton, but I'm pretty sure the length is ok. Mimi |

As stated above, it should work as long as you can move the rollers inboard. However, it will be a lot bigger than you really need for the Wave. We picked up a 14 this winter (which is even bigger than the Wave) using our 18 trailer and it looked pretty silly with such a small boat on that big of a trailor. It worked fine though. If you're just making one trip, I'd say do it. If you're looking to use the trailer a lot, I'd say either plan on modifying the 18 trailer (shorten & move the cross bars and possibly shorten the tongue), or look for a more suitably sized trailer. sm |

Thanks guys, I am looking for a trailer for the wave but found a hobie 18 with a trailer for 2800 in good shape. New trailer from hobie is 1400, kinda got me thinking lol. |
