With the racing season starting to begin, I am asked when registering “what is my sail number”. Well we all know that there are no sail numbers on the Waves. So my question is, is there something that is a rule of thumb for a sail number such as serial number on the back of the hulls? Also not to weaken the sails putting on a sail number would a sail loft be the best way to have these put on or would glue be better. I have been asked just to use tape, but most of the time, I am the “no number sailboat” which I don’t mind, but it is always an issue during registration!
