I think my hulls are taking on water through the ports under the seat pads, has anyone out there done this repair? What can I look forward to? or what should I dread?

Not a big deal. Reseat the caps in an agressice sealant. Shoe Goo or Marine Goop work well. You could (as we do in production) add a few small screws to help keep the cap on better.
