Post subject:  Getting secure connections into The Wave for Seats

Hey all
I have a few ideas of mounting two small sitting platforms onto the Wave (almost the same as what is (used to be) offered after market for the Hobie 14)
Yes of course, one can simply install two hatches to gain the inside of the hulls to avoid blind fastenings but if anyone has found a solid blind hole fastener for the roto hulls, I would really appreciate the info. Most of my Life experience has been with Fiberglas hulls which are as solid as hell if you use the proper back plates.
My thoughts: It would be very cool if a small rail seat can be attached to the middle/rear part of the hulls just large enough to hold two persons on each side as an alternative to constant hiking.
If it can be done on the Getaway why can't we get a way with doing the same for a boat 4 feet smaller??
It is obvious that the backrest option for the Wave simply won't work due to weight limitations on the ends of the Xbars.

I have no commercial interest in this concept, but simply a shared idea that could take this boat to another level for us Wave owners that could use this concept.

(I am also partially handicapped with a chronic back condition. That is why it takes me forever to get anything done...fitting seats to the Wave would be HUGE for anyone that simply can't grind the winches on a 50 foot Racer any more due to age or disability, but still insists on sailing on their own terms).

My Sincere thanks for your input.
Tri
