Hi, I have searched other posts but can't find any info.....

The mast tie down kit for my wave arrived today (i have been transporting the mast in one piece but decided to break it in 2 for safety and getting into the garage).

There were no instructions included about how to secure it to the cross bars or how the cord system works.

Any help appreciated.

This one, I assume.

I have this one because of the traveler track.

The bungee just wraps around the crossbar until snug. The mast ends at the front get wrapped in a old yoga mat my daughter chucked out and then bungeed to the mast ball post. No right or wrong way unless your tramp gets in the way of the bungee...

Want to sail my Wave from East Coast to Aussie someday... Just saying, since it's supposed to snow tomorrow here.

Hey, thanks, that helps. I think that is the one I have. I did buy the fore and aft kit but may just revert to using the aft bracket. The top half of the mast hardly reaches the full length of the tramp and does not fit snugly into the bracket.

I am pretty underwhelmed by the kit actually. No instructions, no obvious place to secure it on the forward cross bar, the tramp feeds directly into it and there is no where to bungee the bracket down.

I might call the dealer back. He assured me he would check that this bracket was right for my Wave!!
