When researching a Wave purchase and deciding I wanted a traveler, I came across this post that also talked about a tramp conversion. http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=9323&start=15 Jim aka Wannahobie, has a good description of how he converted his tramp. Pictures on page 2. I didn't need the conversion info because I was buying a new Club (and the dealer installed my traveler for me before delivery, Thank You Ricardo! ) but I did recall the pretty smart idea about the pins on the rear crossbar and was able to find the post for you. Hope it helps. P.S. If your changing your tramp anyways, I highly recommend adding the traveler. I am extremely happy with the difference the traveler makes when I use it. While it's hardly a 'necessary' item, it does seems that it is so much easier to keep the upper telltale happy. |
