The cracks look superficial to me and I would not worry about them. There is a metal plate inside the comptip that the tang rivets attach to, so I would not worry about the tang ripping from the mast. Also, the tang seems to have a dent in it (middle photo), so that may be the result of an impact and the cause of that crack.
It is possible to get inside the comptip by removing the foam plug. Now reaching inside the mast to do any work is another story. Here is a picture of the inside of the comptip:

The fiberglass is intact, I would almost guarantee. The outer material is a thick putty which is much more brittle than the fiberglass. This can be susceptible to "crazing" cracks that are cosmetic. It likely took an impact, but not enough to actually damage the strength of the mast.
