I was sailing off Kelleys Island in Lake Erie this summer and the speed my little Wave reached was amazing. The wind was in the upper teens and low 20s and the boat was "skipping" across the bay. It almost felt like I was riding in the rudders alone. The boat responded like a jet fighter with the slightest input on the tiller I was able to maneuver over, down and around the larger waves. I have never owned a cat before and mostly sailed on T-10s which are 33 foot mono hull boats, and I don't think I can ever go back now.

Headed to Weko Beach in Southwest Michigan Labor Day weekend for my last weekend of beach sailing this year, hoping for good wind on the big lake.
