I see a few familiar users here that I know, I'm new to the other dark side -aka- peddling a kayak.

I picked up an Adventure at Megrews in RI and I'm in the process of modifying and enjoying the different challenges encountered when rigging a Hobie.

I'm looking forward to some warmer weather here in the New England area so I can take the new toy out playing.

So hi to everyone I know, and I hope to get to know the rest of you here and on the water.

Nils

Welcome aboard Nils. Always great to see another smiling face

How did you guys fare down there with the ice storm? Don't wait too much longer for warm weather, if you hadn't noticed yet it is Winter. You should hook up with Salmon Tim for a few runs before the snow and ice really settle in.

Hi Roger,

Last I heard Tim had packed it up. We had 50 degrees today. I would have gone out except I had to work and I already have the bits apart for modifying.

I think I'm done fishing until March/April - I'm in no hurry with the rigging I still have to figure everything out :)

I'll do some river fishing in the spring, I think the Hobie will work better than the old ride.
