Just took my maiden voyage in my Hank Parker Outback...

Love the mirage drive and that rudder system. I fished for about 6 hours...had very little back or leg fatique (and I'm not in the best of shape)...and caught and released about 15 bass.

Way to go Sonny! Where are you located? Sounds like some good fishing!

Thanks for the reply. I live in Columbia, SC. I've got a few ponds I will fish in with the new outback and hope to spend a good bit of time fishing in the nearby swamp areas soon.

Sonny,
Do you plan to do any saltwater fishing up your way?

I'm pretty much a freshwater fisherman for now, but I have a coworker who is a saltwater diehard and he's wanting us to try out our kayaks on a salt water adventure. Could happen this year. I'll let you know (and probably seek some advice) if it comes together. I've seen some amazing pictures of saltwater catches from Kayaks. It does peek my interest.

My daughter is soon moving to Cocoa Beach area. That could open some opportunites for me also.

For now, however, I'll stick to the "boring" task of catching black bass.

Happy fishing
