:?: Anyone with experience fishing the New England coastline with a Hobie Outback? How's the stability in moderately calm seas?

I just found this site, so this post is obviously late. We got an OB and a Sport a month ago and have fished 3 times in the Sound (Quonny and off Pleasure Beach in Niantic).

Seas were quite calm, so there wasn't a stability problem. Got some waves when the big boats went by and would have to say the yaks are very stable.

Also, caught my first striper from a yak and lost my second...quite a ride they give you. The mirage system is great for keeping the fish lined up where you want it while fighting.

I love the boat and highly recommend it for fishing the sound.
