Any chance that Hobie will offer orange as a color choice in the future? I loved the orange yak color offered before and I think it offers good on-water visibilty - the biggest hazard is getting run over by a powerboater and the fish don't care...

Hi Matt
If a customer was willing to wait, would Hobie do a special order multi color ?

Multi color? Not likely due to concerns about mixing different colors together. This effects strength.

Thanks Matt, :o are the multi color hulls that are in different brands of kayaks weaker than a single color?

I would have thought the plastic would have been the same just a different color pigment, and that the powders used would blend/melt the same, interesting.

Matt - is it possible to special order a kayak in orange? Not multi, all one shade. I really liked the orange color.

I don't make those decisions... but I have seen custom (discontinued color) orders come through. If we had the material... might be possible. Start with a dealer. They can contact our sales department.
