Hi guys I need some help. I'm looking for an ice chest that will fit in the back of the outback that will hold about 30 crappie on ice. I would like one of the soft side coolers with the removable plastic hard liner and a lot of zippered pockets around the sides.

I have a NRS 14x9x9. Don't know about crappie, but it carries 12 coors lights without much ice. They make some larger ones. Nice for fish. It has a removable liner for cleaning which you can replace if it gets damaged.

I also have a IceMule. It's not a easy to use or stow and you have to protect from puncture. I use it mostly to transport extra ice.

I have one of these which works well, I think this is what you are talking about, I picked this up at Bass Pro, but I'm sure a lot of stores carry it
igloo maxcold dual zone

I really like the Polar Bear soft coolers,I have 2, they can lay down to be low profile, keep cold for days & have handy snaps on the side to lash it down, doesnt have all the side pockets you want though

Thanks for your help guys. I settled on this for most of my fishing. I have to be able to carry up to 30 crappie that could be 30 to 40 or more pounds of fish. Thats assuming I catch the limit and I always plan on that. This is a light weight 40 quart cooler that I think will carry enough ice, fish and lunch for me. With the wheels removed it fits perfectly in the back of my outback. I stored the wheels in the rear hatch so I can quickly reinstall them and carry my catch up the hill where I park my boat at the cabin on Grenada Lake.

forgot to add the picture. It's an Igloo max cool with storage pockets around the outside for snacks and such.
