I should be buying a Revo soon for fishing. We currently own a set of the Hobie Side Kick Amas, and I will try them first on the Revo.

If they are not stable enough, I will to the StandNFish. The owner has a Revo and really likes it with his StandNFish set up.

When I was sent this link to: http://standnfish.com/index.html, I first went there for a laugh.

After going there and discussing the use of Hobies with the owner, I'm not laughing any more.

Sorry to bring this old thread back, but, I'm about to buy a Revo as choices are slim here.........well actually none, I'm in Costa Rica and can only find a Revo, well and PA but at a price way out my range. I read about the Revo not being as good for fishing standing up, but what if I add one of these Sidekick Ama Kits?

Thanks in advance
Dan

Thank you sir, those look nice and solid. Please let me know how those Side Kick Amas work out for you. I'm still probably a couple of week away from getting my gear. So your feedback is appreciated

You could have both....Hobie just unveiled the Revolution 11 out the 2011 ICAST show. Alledgedly, there's a new boat which is supposed to be unveiled with the new Revo as well :D

Bet that will make Tom Kirkman happy, he just bought the longer Revo, wanthing something for small waters/rivers :D Ah well, I'm sure he'll spring for the Revo 11 when it comes out as well :D

There's a youtube video on another thread in this forum which shows the yak. No specs though as none are listed on it. Still waiting on someone with more info to give that.

I posted a new thread with the specifics on the New Revo 11. It sounds/looks like a winner for many of us. Besides the specs, there are two write ups, pictures and videos:
