I've been toying with buying an Adventure but just haven't made the commitment yet. I have a question though regarding mud in the mirage drive. This past Saturday, May 13th, was opening day in Manitoba and we went down the Souris River in our Grummon canoes. The fishing was good but the lower portion of the river bank was covered in slick grey mud (the water level had dropped). As we made our way down stream we stopped a couple of times to cast and have lunch. I started thinking that the river mud might interfere with the Mirage drive. The mud in question is like liquid clay, it gets everywhere and sticks to everything. What is the status of the Mirage Drive's performance in real muddy conditions?
