This is only going to happen without the rudder down. The discussion is about paddling without the rudder deployed.

Let me say that there's nothing wrong with the boat - apparently this is just the result of a kayak that was designed and intended to be used with the Mirage Drive and if paddled, with the rudder down.

I do like it. And by the way, with the drive out of my PA, with the longer Turbo ST fins, I've hit 7MPH with it for short distances (1/4 mile). Making 3.5MPH on an easy, casual stroke is easy and can be kept up for hours. It's a fast little boat.

Thank you for this post. I experienced the exact same thing in my Revo 11 and thought it was broken. I had to compensate by paddling HARD to the right side to avoid making u-turns! :lol:

With the rudder down it's fine, BUT, the only time i use the paddle is in shallow water where the rudder is best in the UP position. So, kinda sucks.

Hey, something for Hobie to work on! Still love my Revo.
