Has anyone used the Scotty Compact Threaded Deck Mount with success?
I'm thinking of putting one in the cup holder to mount a rod holder. I'm afraid it might not be as strong as the other scotty mounts.

I have that exact holder mounted to my Pro Angler Side boards. The mount seems sturdy enough and I have had zero issues with them and I use them when I troll. The nut locks down pretty tight so you should be fine. Brian |
